- SlideShow 5.0 installation instructions for Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Win/NT
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- SlideShow is a Windows/95, Windows 3.1 and Win/NT Screen Saver.
- SlideShow will display your favorite JPEG, GIF, BMP, PCX, DIB,
- TGA, WMF and TIF(uncompressed) pictures on your screen as a
- slide show. SlideShow will display the pictures using any or all of 112
- different fades, wipes and dissolves. You can attach WAV files to
- play with your pictures and create professional looking presentations.
- Pictures can be dispayed randomly or in a specified sequence (Custom SlideShow).
- Password protection is provided.

- This program requires VBRUN300.DLL to be in you windows/system directory.
- Odds are that you have this file. If you don't, you can download it from:
- http://www.mcs.net/~cmbsoft/vbrun300.dll

- INSTALLATION STEPS
- ==================
- 1) Unzip SLDSHO50.ZIP into a temporary directory.

- 2) Run the file SETUP.EXE from the temporary directory.

- ** NOTE ** If you recieve the message:
- "WARNING Cannot copy DDEML.DL_ because it is already active on your system"

- This message is OK! It just means you already have this file on
- your system. Just click on the "OK" button and continue the install.

- 3) The install program will copy the SlideShow files to your system.

- 4) When the install program is finished the message "Installation Complete"
- will be displayed. SlideShow is now active on your system.
- Click on "OK".

- 5) A program group called "SlideShow 5.0" will be created and 6 Icons will be placed
- into it. These Icons will allow you to:
- 1) Configure SlideShow.
- 2) Start SlideShow manualy.
- 3) View the SlideShow Help and Information file.
- 4) View and Print the Registration Information using the
- Windows text editor.
- 5) Convert your V4.x Custom SlideShow to V5.0 Format
- 6) Uninstall SlideShow

- SlideShow defaults to displaying random pictures from your
- Windows directory. To change the defaults and options,
- double click on the SlideShow configuration icon.

- The HELP file will tell you how to customize SlideShow. I
- suggest clicking on the HELP icon in the "SlideShow 5.0"
- program group and reading the introduction.

- 6) If you want password protection on the screen saver click the "PASSWORD"
- button on the Global Options screen. A password screen will
- be displayed where you can enter and verify your password.

- 7) Installation is now complete.

- 8) For registration information, click on the SlideShow registration icon.
